Course Description
The Junior Level Two course at Svara Sethu Learning Center is designed for students who have completed the foundational level and are ready to progress further in their journey of Carnatic music.
This course focuses on developing deeper musical understanding, improved voice control, and enhanced expression. Students are introduced to more structured and composition-based learning, helping them connect theory with practical application.
The training includes Swarajathi, which strengthens both melody and rhythm, followed by Tana Varnam that builds stamina, precision, and command over ragas. Students are also guided through Krithis, where they learn to present compositions with proper expression, meaning, and involvement.
With continued emphasis on musical techniques such as Gamaka, students develop greater depth and clarity in their singing. The course also includes dedicated time for practice and theory, ensuring well-rounded progress.
Through 80 structured online sessions over 10 months, students gain confidence, discipline, and the ability to perform with better understanding and expression
