About Us
Svarasethu is a personal mission and digital space dedicated to the depth and beauty of Carnatic music. Built on a foundation of tradition and devotion, it reflects the commitment of its founder, Samyuktha S L, to preserve and share the essence of classical music. With over a decade of experience and advanced training under esteemed gurus, Samyuktha’s teaching approach emphasizes clarity, precision, and expressive depth.
At Svarasethu, the learning path is rooted in the values of Bhakti and the Guru–Shishya Parampara. The goal is not just to teach music, but to help students understand its cultural and spiritual significance. The initiative offers specialized online classes in Carnatic music, Dasara Padas, Vachanas, and Gamaka recitation, as well as slokas and bhajans. Each session is designed to help students connect with the lyrical meaning and emotional soul of the compositions.
As a personal initiative to keep our culture alive, Svarasethu extends learning beyond the classroom through informative blogs that help students deepen their appreciation of the art. It is a space where tradition meets accessibility, allowing every student to grow with confidence, discipline, and a true love for music.
Our Teaching Philosophy
Founder & Instructor
Samyuktha S L is a dedicated Carnatic vocalist, composer, and music educator whose journey in music began at the age of five. Growing up in Chitradurga, she developed a deep-seated passion for the art form early in life, pursuing it with unwavering commitment and focus even as she completed her Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). While her academic background provided a foundation in logic and structure, her strong inner inclination toward the arts eventually led her to choose Carnatic music as her true career and life’s work. To refine her artistry, she underwent years of advanced training under renowned gurus, a journey that has not only shaped her vocal expertise but also instilled in her a profound respect for the nuances of classical traditions.
Today, Samyuktha channels this expertise into Svarasethu, which she leads as a personal initiative to preserve and promote Indian cultural heritage. Her teaching style is a reflection of her own diverse path—blending the precision of a disciplined mind with the expressive depth of a seasoned artist. Beyond technical mastery, she focuses on the spiritual essence of music, ensuring that her students connect with the Bhakti and the lyrical soul of every composition. By choosing to share her knowledge through this personal digital space, she continues to honor the Guru–Shishya Parampara, making traditional learning accessible to a global audience while maintaining the warmth and integrity of a one-on-one mentorship
